Casual readers should note the pegs that have replaced the usual cranks and pedals at the bottom bracket. Should one's feet slip from those pegs while standing, one's toes will drag in the snow until you are fully stretched to Superman mode, at which point the bike will flop on its side, and you directly onto the now upturned peg.
I don't know how to do it, but some really spikey, open-cage pedals would be the real ticket. Less slippage, and the snow would push right through them. Better side-to-side control as well.

Why have I not ridden this?
